The Film Society Of Lincoln Center and The Museum Of Modern Art have announced the complete line-up today for the 43rd edition of New Directors/New Films.
The programme will run from March 19–30 when 27 international features and 13 shorts will screen.
The roster will open with Ana Lily Amirpour’s A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night and includes Centrepiece selection Obvious Child from Gillian Robespierre and Jennifer Kent’s Australian sensation The Babadook (pictured). All three premiered at Sundance.
“These are filmmakers who are breaking new ground or reviving old forms, reinventing genres or inventing them from scratch — all vital and exciting in their own way,” said Dennis Lim, Film Society of Lincoln Center’s director of programming and co-chair of the 2014 ND/NF selection committee.
