The new release of Ulf Malmros' black comedy Slim Sussie was able to put a dent in the successful run of Mikael Haafstroem's Evil, which stayed at number one with more than double the screen average of the newcomer at second.

Pirates Of The Caribbean continued its strong performance in third, while Bad Boys II fell back 35% to sixth. SF Film's release of the Bruce Willis vehicle Tears Of The Sun showed a solid screen average on its 31 prints and made it into eighth, while the local romantic comedy Miffo still clung on to the top 10 after 10 weeks and a good $3,447,663 gross.
