The star-studded Christmas love stories in Love Actually this weekend sailed past Peter Weir's Master And Commander, but was unable to touch Finding Nemo at the top of the Swedish chart.
Released on less prints, but boasting the best screen average this weekend, Quentin Tarantino's first installment of Kill Bill made it into fourth after being the most successful film at the recent Stockholm International Film Festival. While Evil remained on fifth, the other local films on release were pushed down the chart, The Third Wave to ninth and Daybreak (aka If I Turn Around) to eleventh.
Triangelfilm's timely release of the multiple European Film Awards winner, Good Bye, Lenin!, continued to have the highest screen average on the chart, almost four times that of Looney Tunes: Back In Action, which opened on no less than 64 prints.
