Lars Lennart Forsberg's My Mother Had 14 Children and Agneta Fagerstrom-Olsson's Knockout shared the Goteborg-Posten Nordic Competition Award at this year's Goteborg Film Festival (Jan 28-Feb 6).
The directors of the two Swedish films were awarded SEK50,000 each. Knockout also won the Kodak NordicVision award - also worth SEK50,000 - for cinematography, which was received by John O. Olsson.
The Canal Plus Nordic Script Prize went to Iceland's Einar Mar Gudmundson for his script of Angels Of The Universe directed by Fridrik Thor Fridriksson. The Goteborg Great Film Award of SEK50,000 went to Swedish film Tsatsiki, Mum And The Policeman, directed by Ella Lemhagen, which is screening at the Berlin Festival in the Kinderfest section.
Elefteria Kalogritsa's The Face Of Time picked up the SEK50,000 prize for best Swedish short.
