Swedish distribution company NonStop Entertainment has acquired all rights for Scandinavia and the Baltic countries to Oliver Stone's Comandante.
For his first documentary, Stone has chosen a controversial subject: an intimate conversation between the director and Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
From three days of shooting in Cuba, Stone has edited down more than 30 hours of interviews and conversations to provide a direct portrait of Castro, where the leader discusses the state of his country and the present situation of international politics.
Comandante opened the Sundance Film Festival 2003 and was later screened at the Berlin Film Festival. The Scandinavian premiere is set for fall 2003.
