A combined $3.8m weekend grossbrings the film's running total to $267.2m, which comprises mostly ColumbiaTriStar Film Distributors International (CTFDI) markets as well as Japan, whereit was released by Toho, and Korea, where Maha did the honours.
In other CTFDI openings, Bad Boys 2 opened in second place in Australia on$2.1m, behind Pirates Of The Caribbean's second week.
The film is expected pass the Australian lifetime gross of BadBoys by Wednesday andthe 15-rated film can look forward to good business going into the three-weekschool holiday period.
Overall the action sequel took$4.1m from 1,500 screens at the weekend and raised its cumulative score to$25.5m.
In other highlights, it opened number one in Brazil on $540,000and has already passed the original's lifetime gross there.
Bad Boys 2grossed $550,000 in its second weekend in Mexico, dropping just 27% for $2m.
S.W.A.T. hadtwo number one bows in Thailand and Hong Kong and will get its first serioustests next weekend with openings in Japan and Korea.
Identityopened in second place in Germany on $1.3m from 473 screens.
The horror-thriller took$2.2m at the weekend, raising its running total to $18m. France and Brazil areamong next weekend's new territories.
