Claudine Bories and Patrice Chagnard’s The Arrivals (Les Arrivants) scooped three prizes at the 52nd International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film, which closed on Sunday (November 1).

The film, about a centre for asylum seeks in Paris, picked up the Golden Dove as well as prizes from the Ecumenical jury and Prize of the ver.di, Europe’s largest multi-service trade union. Meanwhile, Peter Kerekes’ Cooking History won the Fipresci International Critics Prize.
