The Door, Just The Wind to open Hungarian Film Festival Of LA

The North American premiere of Istvan Szabo’s The Door takes place in the 1960s and stars Helen Mirren as a maid who forms an unlikely bond with a novelist.

Just The Wind is Hungary’s official submission for the foreign language Oscar race. Bence Fliegauf’s story depicts a day in the life of a gypsy during a time of deadly attacks on the community.

The line-up includes the North American premiere of The Tragedy Of Man and there will be a career achievement award to Gyula Gazdag at the residence clubhouse of the Consul General of Hungary in Los Angeles on Nov 14.
