DreamWorks’ Civil Rights Era drama has grossed more than $148m in North America since it went on release six weeks ago through Buena Vista.

Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, Allison Janney, Chris Lowell, Ahna O’Reilly, Octavia Spencer, Emma Stone, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen, Cicely Tyson and Mike Vogel will all be honoured at the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards on Oct 24.

Tate Taylor directed from his adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s bestseller. Brunson Green, Chris Columbus and Michael Barnathan produced.
