The 2007 line-up, which is targeted primarily at accredited distributors, buyers, journalists and programmers from festivals and cultural institutions, also includes Tom Tykwer's internationally successful big-budget literary adaptation Perfume - The Story Of A Murderer, Chris Kraus' multi-award-winning prison drama Four Minutes, Dani Levy's controversial Hitler comedy Mein Fuhrer, filmmaker Marcus H. Rosenmueller's Bavarian comedy Grave Decisions, and Ralf Westhoff's speed dating comedy Shoppen which was the buzz film of last year's Hof Film Days and has since been picked up by X Verleih for German theatrical release.
Most of the films shown here have already been released in German cinemas, the German Cinema programme representing in number around a third of the local productions screening in the Berlinale's official sections.*
