QED International's Sigourney Weaver/Kate Bosworth thriller The Girl In The Park by David Auburn is among eight titles acquired by the Munich-based distributor Tiberius Film at the recent European Film Market in Berlin.
The other acquisitions are:
Michael and Peter Spierig's scifi drama Daybreakers, starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill, from Mandate
Peter Flinth's $33m Scandinavian medieval adventure film Arn: The Knight Templar from Telepool
Ti West's Cabin Fever 2 - Spring Fever, the sequel to Eli Roth's horror hiot, with Rider Strong and Giuseppe Andrews, from Mandate
Jamie Blanks' Australian thriller Long Weekend, starring Jim Caviezel and Claudia Karvan, from Darclight Films
Mark Young's sci-fi horror thriller Tooth And Nail, with Vinnie Jones and Michael Madsen, from Darclight Films
Tim Sullivan's mystery thriller Driftwood, with Ricky Ullman and Dallas Page, from IM Global
and the American Geological Institute's four-part documentary series Faces Of Earth from Rive Gauche.
Tiberius's distribution chief David Marsh said that he was 'very satisfied' with this year's EFM as his company had managed to find projects 'which perfectly complement our growth strategy.'
