Everybody adores him, so Toronto International Film Festival has done the decent thing.
It’s always OK to quote your favourite Bill Murray lines and enjoy the man’s comedic magnificence, but on September 5 the whole thing will be deliriously institutionalised.
TIFF top brass have set a trio of free public screenings at TIFF Bell Lightbox starting at 10am – Stripes, Groundhog Day and Ghostbusters — leading up to that night’s world premiere of the latest Murray movie, St. Vincent.
Tickets for the free screenings will be available on the day from 8am at the TIFF Bell Lightbox box office.
And there’s more: up to 50 Murray fans who attend all three screenings will get a chance to win a ticket to the world premiere of St. Vincent. Imagine that - four Murray movies in one day.
Contest details will be announced shortly. Keep an eye on the official TIFF site.
