Toronto International Film Festival artistic director Cameron Bailey on Tuesday [19] announced the festival would host its second annual Asian Summit on Sept 10.

“Last year we were honoured to have among our Asian Film Summit guests film-makers Chen Kaige, Mira Nair and Eli Roth, film executives Harvey Weinstein, Bill Kong, Chris Dodd, Nina Lath Gupta and Stuart Ford, and global superstar Jackie Chan,” said Bailey [pictured].

“We’re looking forward to welcoming another stellar line-up of key influencers and film leaders from both sides of the Pacific.”

The 2013 Summit will include panel discussions, in-depth working sessions and a gala banquet. Programming details will emerge in the coming months.

The 2013 Toronto International Film Festival is scheduled to run from Sept 5-15.
