TLA Releasing has acquiredall North American, UK, Australian and New Zealand theatrical and homeentertainment rights to Q AllanBrocka's gay drama Boy Culture.
The picture received its USpremiere at Tribeca and tells of a male escort who must learn to open up to hisfeelings before he can have sex with an elderly client.
Derek Magyar, JonathonTrent, and Patrick Bauchau star in the picture, which will open in theatres inMarch 2007.
TLA partner and director ofacquisitions Richard A Wolff negotiated the deal with The Film Sales Company'sAndrew J Hurwitz.
Stephen Israel produced BoyCulture, which won the Jury Awardfor Best Feature at the 2006 Philadelphia Gay & Lesbian Film Festival andthe Jury Award for Best Screenplay at 2006 Outfest.
