The fourthedition of the Transylvania International Film Festival will kick off on May 27in Cluj, Romania with the gala screening of Korean title Oldboy.
The festival willclose on June 5 with Spanish director Alejandro Amenabar's AcademyAward winner The Sea Inside.
TheRomanian-born, German actress Alexandra Maria Lara, the British producer KeithGriffiths, Belgrade Film Festival artistic director Miroljub Vuckovic and theHungarian director Andras Fesos are the confirmed members of the InternationalJury which will grant the Transylvania Trophy for the best film in competition.A three-member FIPRESCI jury will also be set up at TIFF for the first time.
Among the specialguests expected to arrive in Cluj are Lukas Moodysson, to present his last filmA Hole in My Heart,and Todd Solondz who will introduce Palindromes.
The festival'stwelve competition titles include two current Cannes Un Certain Regard titles,Romanian director Cristi Puiu's The Death of Mr. Lazarescu and Hungarian director Kornel Mundruczo'sJoan.
