Taiwan-based Double Edge Entertainment has announced today a cluster of European and Asian sales, all closed at the European Film Market, on The Treasure Hunter (pictured).

The film, directed by Kevin Chu and starring Jay Chou, has gone to Germany and Benelux (Splendid Film), UK and Canada (E1 Entertainment), CIS and Baltics, (CP Digital), Japan (Noori Pictures for Paramount) and Korea (Noori Pictures for Lotte).

The Taipei Film Commission has introduced a host of incentives to attract international productions to the country, including tax breaks and rebates, discounts on accommodation and direct subsidies.
