The world premiere of Kirsten Dunst’s short film and a screening of this year’s live-action Oscar winner are among the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival’s short films line-up.

The 47 entries, selected from 2,717 submissions this year, are eligible to compete for combined cash and value-in-kind prizes amounting to more than $15,000 for best narrative short, best documentary short and the Student Visionary Award.

Fifteen selections will be available through the inaugural Tribeca Film Festival Virtual venture and will also be eligible to win the $5,000 cash prize for the TFF Virtual Best Short Film Award, sponsored by American Express.

Dunst directed Bastard and co-wrote with Sasha Sagan. Also screening is Joachim Back’s best live action short Oscar winner The New Tenants. Tribeca is scheduled to run from April 22-May 2.
