Three new acquisitions by IFC will be among the line-up of titles at the upcoming Focus On IFC Films at BAMcinematek in New York.
The March 19-21 sneak preview of IFCs slate includes the trio of fresh acquisitions: Christophe Honore’s Making Plans For Lena (pictured), Claire Denis’ White Material and Elia Suleiman’s The Time That Remains.
The line-up opens with the New York premiere of Ken Loach’s Looking For Eric, and includes Bruno Dumont’s Hadewijch, Johnnie To’s Vengeance, and Kim Ji-woon’s The Good, The Bad, The Weird.
On March 20 Honore and actress Chiara Mastroianni will take part in an on-stage Q&A following the screening of Making Plans For Lena.
The screening is presented in collaboration with Unifrance and the Film Society Of Lincoln Center as part of Rendez-Vous With French Cinema programme.
On March 13 BAMcinematek will screen Riad Sattouf’s raunchy teen sex comedy The French Kissers followed by a Q&A with the director under the auspices of the Rendez-Vous With French Cinema.
