Adam'sApple, by Danish director Anders Thomas Jensen (Flickering Lights, The Green Butchers), was the big winner of the24th edition of the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festivalon Saturday. The film scooped the GoldenRaven (Grand Prize of the Festival), the Meliès d'Argent (Best European Fantastic Film)and the Pegasus (AudiencePrize).
The International Jury made up of Chairman Michael Ironside,Philippe Nahon, Rob Schmidt and Matthew Robbinsdescribed the film as " an unexpected mix of wildnessand tenderness. The movie is original, unpredictable and was for all of us, andit seems for all the audience as well, an absolute joy from the beginning tillthe end."The Silver Raven (special prizeof the Jury) was awarded to Storm by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein. "Stormhas impressed us not only because of the directors' techniques, but also by thegreat acting."
