Denmark's Trust Film Sales will be handling international sales of the Swedish film Details, the highly anticipated new film from writer-director Kristian Petri.
The film has been tipped for a slot in Cannes - if it is finished in time - and is based on a play by Sweden's provocative playwright Lars Noren.
It follows the lives of two men and two women crossed by love and betrayal, and is the first ever adaptation of a Noren play. The stage version of Details won the Scandinavian National Theatre Prize earlier this week.
The film stars Pernilla August, Mikael Nyqvist, Jonas Karlsson and Rebecka Hemse and was shot in Trollhättan, Berlin and Toscana from last summer.
Christer Nilsson produced the film for Sweden's Götafilm with Denmark's Moonlight Filmproduction acting as co-producers. The Euros 2.2m film was backed by the Swedish film institute, regional fund Film I Vast, Swedish broadcaster SVT, Sandrew Metronome and Germany's Pandora.
Kristian Petri feature debut Between Summer participated in the director's fortnight at Cannes in 1995.
