Scandinavian sales company TrustNordisk has taken on thriller Headhunters.
The Nordic co-production is based on the book by Jo Nesbo, the crime author who has sold more than 2 million books worldwide. Marianne Gray from Yellowbird (The Millennium Trilogy) will produce with Asle Vatn from Friland; Nordisk will co-produce.
The film is about a successful headhunter who gets involved in art theft.
Headhunters is shooting now for director Morten Tyldum. The cast features Norwegian actor Aksel Hennie (Max Manus) and Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Wimbledon).
The company will start pre-sales in Toronto. Nordisk will handle Nordic distribution, set for autumn 2011.

In other TrustNordisk news, indiemoviesonline has signed a content partnership deal with the company to cover 40 European titles for the online, ad-supported VOD platform.
Titles include Prague, D-Day, Dogville Confessions and 101 Reykjavik.
