Danish national broadcaster TV2 Danmark has appointed 33-year-old Adam Price as head of drama production starting 2001. The role has been expanded to encompass all fiction production including investments in features.
Price has worked as a freelance writer in a wide range of genres and media for 14 years and has credits including the feature Babydoom and popular TV series Taxa.
"Danish fiction on TV and in cinemas is experiencing its best time ever," said Price commenting on his appointment. "The audience want to see home-grown drama and the mass of creative talent have never been greater."
TV2 Danmark recently invested in Per Holst Film adaptation Two-Penny Dance and its sequel Juliane, as well as last year's hit comedies The One And Only and In China They Eat Dogs.
