The exclusive deal will cover more than 300 library titles.

Japan’s Twin Co has closed an exclusive deal with Hong Kong-based Fortune Star for more than 300 titles in its library in all media in Japan.

The Fortune Star library contains more than 700 titles, featuring stars such as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun-fat, Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh.

Twin will release the initial slate of five Bruce Lee classics – The Big Boss, The Way Of The Dragon, Fist Of Fury (pictured), Game Of Death and Tower Of Death – on Blu-ray on Nov 26 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the star’s birth. Paramount Home Entertainment will handle the release.

The Bruce Lee slate will be followed by 24 Jackie Chan classics on Blu-Ray/DVD in December. Twin will also start distributing the Fortune Star library on video-on-demand (VoD) this year.

Twin’s upcoming theatrical slate includes Cannes Palme d’Or winner The White Ribbon, Chinese epic Confucius and martial arts epic True Legend.
