Two features from Danish director Ole Bornedal have been sold for US remakes.
Mandate Pictures have secured rights to Just Another Love Story and The Substitute. Both films were shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
Mandate Pictures will co-produce the remakes with Thura Film's Michael Obel whose work with Ole Bornedal goes back to the 90s remake of Bornedal's Nightwatch.
On the production team will also be Sam Raimi. Mandate Pictures recently had a hit with Jason Reitmans Juno. Both films sold more than 200,000 tickets locally.
