The UK's UCI cinemas will be screening all England and Ireland football matches along with the final in 20 of its 39 cinemas throughout the UK during this year's World Cup.
And following a deal with Hutchinson 3G, Odeon Cinemas will be digitally broadcasting England's qualifying matches in five major cities around the country. The sites installed with new digital equipment include the Odeons Leicester Square, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle.
Similarly, a Warner Village spokesperson said the company was currently "exploring the opportunities and possibility of showing some of the matches."
UGC, on the other hand, has decided that football doesn't fit its film remit. A spokesperson said; "We won't be showing matches due to the fact we're committed to our core focus of film,"
