Dogwoof, the UK-based independent distributor, has promoted Oli Harbottle from film release co-ordinator to head of distribution.
He will oversee all of Dogwoof’s titles with a view to expanding the documentary strand of the company’s business.
Harbottle joined the company in 2006 from the Raindance Film Festival, where he was a producer.
He said: “We have had an exceptionally strong start to the year with the success of The Age of Stupid, and I look forward to building the company’s reputation as one of the foremost companies for documentary distribution in the UK, as well as helping to evolve our hybrid distribution model, Dogwoof Indie.”
