Digitalfilm services company Arts AllianceMedia has announced that Momentum Pictures' District13, opening in the UK today, is the 50th feature they have beendigitally encrypted and shown on the UK Film Council's Digital Screen Network.

TheDSN is Europe's largest 2K digital cinema network. The networkcurrently includes 56 screens, with a total of 240 planned during the rest ofthe rollout.

Sincethe beginning of the rollout in October 2005, more than 11,000 digital showshave been played on the network of films including Hard Candy, Over The Hedge, Wah-Wah and 36 Quai des Orfevres.
