Toronto-based Cinemavault has closed key territory sales on Fight Night, Jonathan Dillion’s action film starring Rebecca Neuenswander and Chad Ortis.
The story follows a talented female boxer who hooks up with an opportunistic manager looking to make it big in the underground fight circuit.
Rights have gone to the UK (E1), Germany (Tiberius), Japan (New Select), France (Mercury International), Australia (21st Century), Taiwan (Catchplay), Brazil (Telecine), and Greece (Village Films).
Deals also closed in Benelux (Three Lines), the Middle East (Front Row), Israel (Shoval), Latin America (LAP TV), Poland (IDG), the Czech Republic (Hollywood CE & Vapet), Turkey (ATP Insaat), Romania (ITV), Thailand (Rose Video), Asia (Star TV), and Indonesia (PT Global).
Phase 4 Films holds US rights and Cinemavault will release the film on DVD in September in partnership with Vivendi.
The film previously was named best feature film at Dances With Films and the Radar International Independent Film Festival, and Neuenswander was nominated for breakout female star at the Action On Film Festival.
