The US Producers Guild Of America has renamed its annual awards from the Golden Laurel Awards to the Producers Guild Awards, and announced that The Manchurian Candidate (1962) and Network (1976) will be inducted into its hall of fame.
The awards will be presented at the 13th annual awards show will take place on March 3, 2002, in Los Angeles. Co-chairs are Bruce Cohen and Debra Hill.
The Hall of Fame awards are given to films that are at least ten years old and have survived the test of time. Last year's winners were Lawrence Of Arabia and It Happened One Night.
