Venevision International Films has picked up US and Puerto Rican ancillary rights to the Colombia-Spain rom-com.

The distribution subsidiary of Venezuela’s Cisneros conglomerate closed the deal at the Miami International Film Festival (MIFF), which runs until Mar 13.

Jose Ramon Ganchegui of Spain-based Venevision International Films brokered the deal with Gonzalo Sagardía of Madrid-based Vertice Sales.

With Or Without Love (Una Hora Mas En Canarias) stars Angie Cepeda and Quim Gutierrez and was directed by David Serrano.

In a separate development filmmakers Andy Garcia, Aaron Salgado and Jaydee Freixas will receive the Lexus Pursuit Of Perfection Award on Mar 12 in recognition of their “creative contribution to the filmmaking community.”

The trio collaborated on Magic City Memoirs, which will premiere at MIFF on Mar 11.
