Visit Films has taken on two new films ahead of their world premieres at Berlin: Arcadia in Generation and Dollhouse in Panorama.
Olivia Silver’s Arcadia stars Oscar nominee John Hawkes (fresh from Sundance buzz in The Surrogate) as a dad moving his kids cross-country.
Kirsten Sheridan (August Rush) wrote and directs Dollhouse, about a group of Dublin teenagers who break into a suburban home for a frenzied night of partying that changes them all. Seana Kerslake, Johnny Ward, Kate Stanley Brennan, Shane Curry, Ciaran McCabe, and Jack Reynor star.
Ryan Kampe, President of Visit Films, said: “Each year we are so happy to partner with such talented and innovative filmmakers from around the world. Arcadia is a special treat given John Hawkes’s recent success at Sundance with The Surrogate. And Dollhouse is going to blow people away. This movie moves quickly and comes with some exciting surprises.”
New York-based Visit Films has other titles in its slate including First Position, Teddy Bear, California Solo, Ben Lee: Catch My Disease, Terri, The Odds, and March of the Living.
