Limited edition merchandise includes reprint of Dead Man’s Shoes graphic novel.
Warp Films is celebrating its 10 anniversary with celebrations continuing this weekend in the company’s birthplace of Sheffield.
On Saturday Nov 17, the company will host a large-scale screening at Magna Science Adventure Park of Dead Man’s Shoes [pictured], re-scored live by Gavin Clark, Joel Cadbury, Ali Friend, Ted Barnes, Jah Wobble, Marc Layton-Bennett and Helen Boulding. DJ sets will follow. This event follows an Oct 19 screening at London’s BFI Southbank of This Is England with a live score by original composer Ludivico Einaudi and Gavin Clark.
As part of the anniversary, Warp is introducing a range of limited edition merchandise, including a book about the company’s decade of films, a reprint of the Dead Man’s Shoes graphic novel, T-shirts and film downloads.
Sheffield’s Showroom Cinema recently hosted a Warp retrospective and on Tuesday night (Nov 13) will host a film quiz.
