Wild Bunch will handle international sales on James Toback's Tyson. The documentary, which looks at the prize fighter's life in and out of the ring, is running in competition in the Un Certain Regard sidebar.
The film begins with Tyson's earliest memories of growing up in Brooklyn and traces his rise to boxing glory, his misadventures with promoter Don King, his tortured marriage to Robin Givens and fortunes won and lost.
ICM is handling North American sales; Wild Bunch has the rest of the world.
Toback and Tyson go back a long way. The boxer appeared in Toback's 1999 drama Black And White and his 2004 film When Will I Be Loved as himself.
Tyson the documentary is produced by Toback and Damon Bingham with executive producers Tyson, Harlan Werner, Nicholas and Henry Jarecki and Bob Yari.
