Jean-Marc Vallée’s new drama starring Reese Witherspoon will kick off the 33rd annual Vancouver International Film Festival, set to run from September 25–October 10.

All in all festival programmers have found 353 films from more than 65 countries, of which 223 are features.

The Closing Night Gala screening is Sundance double winner Whiplash from Damien Chazelle.
