Loic Magneron's Wide Manaagement has closed a slew of deals as the EFM
winds down, including a US deal on Marco Simon Puccioni's Italian Panorama entry, Shelter.

The film, about two young Italian women who find a Moroccan immigrant hiding in their car, has sold to Wolfe Releasing. The film stars Portuguese siren Maria De Medeiros (Henry and June, Pulp Fiction) and Antonia Liskova.

Meanwhile, Asian buyers' curiosity has clearly been piqued by It's Gradiva
Who's Calling You, the latest feature from Alain Robbe-Grillet, the legendary French writer and filmmaker who scripted Alain Resnais' Last Year In Marienbad. The film has now gone to Japan (AT Entertainment) and Korea (CNS Entertainment.)

Also at the EFM, Flemish director Koen Mortier's Ex Drummer, a scabrous
yarn about a dysfunctional rock band, has gone to Former Yugoslavia (Cinemania Group.) Wide Management took on sales duties on the title following its world premiere in Rotterdam's Tiger competition last month.
