The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) has announced the final slate of candidates for its 2009 election for officers and board of directors.

The Officer candidates are
President - John Wells, Elias Davis
Vice President - Tom Schulman, Howard Michael Gould
Secretary-Treasurer - Christopher Keyser, David N. Weiss

The 17 candidates for eight open seats on the WGAW Board of Directors are:

(Andrea King, who had been a Board candidate, withdrew her candidacy)

The Candidates Night town hall election forum will be held on September 2 in Los Angeles and members can vote by mail or at the annual membership meeting on September 17. Ballots will be counted September 18.
