As part of a top management reshuffle, the Swedish Film Institute has today (March 20) appointed Linda Zachrison - advisor of former culture minister Leif Pagrotsky - head of the Audience department, a new division comprising information, international, the Cinemathèque, Children, Youth & Film, and Domestic Cinema.
Zachrison, a former chief of Stockholm's Park Theatre and marketing director of the Stockholm City Theatre's Backstage, will join the institute's top management group of six directors headed by new CEO Cissi Elwin.
At the same time the institute has named journalist Pia Lundberg chief of the international department, responsible for the promotion of Swedish cinema abroad. Most recently editor-in-chief of Swedish magazine Form, Lundberg - succeeding Staffan Gronberg - has been Scandinavian correspondent for Screen International and Variety.
