The prolific Danish production outfits Zentropa and Nimbus Film have extended their output deal with exhibition-distribution major Nordisk Film for another two years.

The deal includes a number of new films from directors such as Annette K. Olesen, Per Fly, Susanne Bier, Soren Kragh Jacobsen, Natasha Arthy, Aage Rais Nordentoft, Anders Gustafsson and Hans Fabian Wullenweber.

However, since the deal leaves it up to the producers to go to the highest bidder once the budget passes $3.1m (DKR20m), new films from the high profile Lars von Trier, Lone Scherfig and Thomas Vinterberg have to be negotiated independently. Nordisk Film has already boarded Vinterberg's Dear Wendy.
