The honourees for this upcoming awards season will be announced on Dec 10.

AFI will celebrate the teams that created what its voting body regards as the 10 most outstanding films and the 10 most outstanding television programmes of the year at a private lunch in Los Angeles.

The film submission deadline is Nov 1 and the TV deadline is Oct 26.
