The AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Festival will honour Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky on Jun 19 at the Charles Guggenheim Symposium “for their collective and individual contributions to the documentary genre.”

AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs – celebrating its tenth anniversary this year – will take place from Jun 18-24 at the AFI Silver Theatre and surrounding venues in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Berlinger and Sinofsky have directed, among others, Brother’s Keeper, Some Kind Of Monster, Under African Skies and the Paradise Lost trilogy.
