Qumra marked its fifth edition over six fruitful days in March. Doha Film Institute (DFI) has achieved something special with this event, hosting some 150 projects over its five years, nurturing emergent regional talent to give them a chance to develop their voices, and seeing its reputation with international industry rise at a pace.
Full details will be revealed at next year’s Cannes Film Festival.
