The former Disney president will continue to be based in Los Angeles.

Mark Zoradi has started working with IMAX Corp. as a non-executive strategic advisor.

Based in Los Angeles, industry veteran Zoradi will work with IMAX to advise them about film acquisition, distribution and marketing, as well as studio and exhibitor relationships.

Zoradi was most recently president of the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group; he worked for Disney for nearly three decades.

Zoradi is also a new member of the board of exhibition chain Rave Cinemas.
