PICTURE GALLERY: Filmgoers mixed with celebrities at the California festival’s 16th edition that ran from April 23-30.

Russell Crowe’s feature directorial debut The Water Diviner opened the Newport Beach Film Festival as the programme unspooled over the course of a week.

The line-up included spotlights on the UK, Ireland, China and South Korea, as well as panels and guest speakers.
