The nominees for the 76th Golden Globe Awards were announced today (Dec 6) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Vice is ahead of the pack with six nominations, including Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy and acting nods for Christian Bale and Amy Adams.
Closely following are musical drama A Star Is Born, Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Favourite and race drama Green Book with five nominations apiece.
On the TV side, real-life inspired limited series The Assassination of Gianni Versace leads the pack with four nods.

Annapurna Pictures and Fox Searchlight Pictures lead the distributor totals with ten each, closely followed by Disney with nine.
A new award, a TV equivilent of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in film, was also announced during the presentation.
Last night the HFPA announced that Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg would host the awards ceremony, which will take place on Sunday January 6, 2019 and air on NBC.
