Sienna Miller will be anointed as ShoWest 2009's supporting actress of
the year when the annual convention runs from March 30-April 2 in Las
Vegas.
Miller, who will star this summer in Paramount/Spyglass' spy action
picture G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, will accept the accolade at the
final night banquet and awards ceremony on April 2.
Stephen Sommers directed the picture and the North American release
has been set for August 7.
Her previous roles include Interview, Factory Girl, Layer Cake, The
Edge Of Love, Alfie and The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, among others.
Past recipients of the ShoWest supporting actress of the year award
include Rosario Dawson, Judi Dench, Dakota Fanning, Angelina Jolie,
Rachel McAdams, Marisa Tomei and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
